William (Bill) Hall, Jr., President
and CEO
Bill Hall is the president and CEO of GMAC Commercial Finance. Hall has spent his entire career in the leveraged/specialty finance arena, with experience in credit and portfolio management, underwriting, origination and syndication.
Hall joined Commercial Finance in 1999 as a co-founder of a predecessor organization and served as president of its Structured Finance and European Operations divisions prior to being appointed to his current position in 2006. Prior to joining GMAC, Hall was at Heller Financial, where he served as a senior vice president responsible for a team of professionals engaged in originating and underwriting leveraged loans. Hall also spent 15 years at National Westminster Bank, where his last position was department head for Private Equity Origination.
Hall received a B.A. (1982) degree from Bucknell University.
Kevin Boland, Chief Credit Officer
Kevin Boland has served as the chief credit officer since 1999. He has 23 years experience with GMAC, primarily in North American Automotive Operations, where his experiences included managing GMAC's largest fleet credit relationships, managing a staff of analysts responsible for GMAC's largest credit exposures, directing a team responsible for developing risk management reporting and creating technical solutions to operating issues.
Boland received M.B.A. (1989) and a B.A. (1985) degrees from the University of Detroit.
Linda I. Voss, Chief Operations
Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Linda Voss is the chief financial and operating officer responsible for overseeing corporate functions for GMAC Commercial Finance, including finance, accounting, compliance, treasury, human resources, legal and IT. Voss also serves on the Board of Directors.
Voss joined GMAC in 1982 in the Cash Control Department and was promoted in rapid succession over the next 15 years to key finance positions within GMAC giving her a broad corporate finance background.
Voss has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Nuvell Financial Services Corp., Nuvell Credit Corporation and Saab Financial Services Corp., all subsidiaries of GMAC and served on the Board of Directors of all three companies. She was named managing director for National Auto Finance Company, a division of Nuvell Credit Corporation, in 2004.
Voss received a B.A. degree (1982) in accounting and economics from Oakland University (Mich.) and a M.B.A (1986) from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor under the GM Fellowship Program. Voss also attended the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth and the Center for Creative Leadership's ‘Leadership at the Peak’ program in 2001.
George Triebenbacher, President,
Structured Finance Division
George Triebenbacher has been involved in the leveraged finance business for over 20 years. Triebenbacher joined the Structured Finance Division of GMAC CF, in May 1999 and currently serves as its president.
Prior to joining GMAC CF, Triebenbacher was with Heller Financial, where he was a senior vice president and team leader with responsibilities that included managing a team of professionals that originated, underwrote and managed middle-market transaction sourced through Equity Sponsors and other referral sources. Before that, Triebenbacher was with National Westminster Bank, where he held a variety of positions involving origination, underwriting and management of leveraged senior debt transactions.
Triebenbacher received M.B.A and B.S. degrees in Finance from Seton Hall University.
Kevin M. McGarry, President, Commercial
Services Division
Kevin McGarry currently serves as the president of the Commercial Service Division of GMAC CF. McGarry has over 25 years commercial finance experience.
McGarry joined GMAC CF in 2003, as executive vice president and northeast regional manager of the Commercial Services Division. In July, 2006, McGarry was named its chief operating officer. Previously, McGarry served as president and chief operating officer at GE Capital, Commercial Services and president of Congress Talcott Corp. McGarry also held senior risk and sales management roles at Heller Financial Inc. and GoFish.com.
McGarry is the director of the Commercial Finance Association (CFA), has earned Six Sigma Green Belt training and was made an honoree of Big Brothers/Big Sisters NYC in 1998.
McGarry received associate degrees in business administration from Queensboro Community College and credit financial management from the New York Institute of Credit.
Gordon Titley, Managing Director and President, European Operations Division, GMAC Commercial Finance
Gordon Titley is Managing Director and President of the European Operations Division for GMAC CF.
Since joining GMAC CF in April 1990, Titley has helped drive the company's innovative approach to providing finance solutions across a range of industry sectors, building upon GMAC CF's strong credit skills and sound lending principles. Titley and his team have been at the forefront of providing cross-border financing at GMAC CF, offering single integrated lending solutions to companies operating across a number of jurisdictions.
Titley has been with the company for over 18 years. He has worked in a number of areas of the business, including recoveries, account and risk management and was Chief Credit Officer for European Operations, from May 2005 to September 2006. He has experience in an extensive number of industries, dealing with businesses of all sizes from SME's to public listed companies.
Titley graduated in Economics, Politics and Law from Nottingham.
